Tondo, a company active in the promotion of the Circular Economy, conceived and led the Circular Threads project with the aim of analysing and accelerating the circular transition of the Italian textile industry. After the first study carried out in 2021 in collaboration with Associazione Tessile e Salute, REN and Fondazione Pistoletto, Circular Threads 2.0 was born, an evolution of the project that aims to transform analysis into concrete action.
The initiative aims to identify opportunities and criticalities in the implementation of the Circular Economy in the sector, increase recycling, reuse and recovery, and present replicable pilot projects. Special attention is devoted to eco-design, innovative materials, sustainable business models and recycling technologies.
