Reflaunt is a technology startup founded in 2018 by a team with experience in e-commerce, fashion, and sustainability. The company was founded with the goal of reselling apparel and fashion at retail and now offers a solution that integrates resale and traceability technologies for used products, aiming to make the fashion industry more circular and less dependent on virgin resources. It is now a leader in resale as a service technology and building digital resale ecosystems with fashion brands and retailers including Balenciaga, Ba&sh and COS with a network of over 27 resale markets and over 50 million users under its belt.

Reflaunt is a technology platform that aims to revolutionise the fashion industry by supporting the second hand and circular fashion market. Their goal is to provide solutions to make fashion more sustainable, reduce waste and extend the life of products through resale and recycling. In particular, it helps fashion brands integrate the second hand market into their business models by offering direct resale channels for their used products. Customers can sell, exchange or buy second-hand items directly on the brands’ official websites, scheduling pick-up or delivery.
A specialised team assesses the quality of the products, takes professional photos and defines a price via an algorithm, which is approved by the customer before the sale. If eligible for immediate resale, the customer receives an immediate credit with the brand; in the case of a deposit account, the customer can choose between a cash payment or a purchase credit, which offers additional value, incentivising loyalty and engagement.By managing the entire logistics process, the platform simplifies the user experience and allows brands to adopt a circular business model, reducing waste and extending the life cycle of products.The focus of the project is the circular economy, a concept that promotes waste reduction through the reuse and recycling of goods. The platform aims to:

  • Reducing the environmental impact of fashion: By encouraging the reuse of products, reducing the need to produce new garments and reducing textile waste.
  • Create value for brands: By offering fashion brands the opportunity to build a closer connection with their customers through the second hand market, thus enhancing their reputation for sustainability.
  • Innovate the second hand market: By integrating the fashion industry with a circular business model that encourages recycling, resale and a shared economy.

Reflaunt aims to become a reference platform for circular fashion, creating an ecosystem where garments can have a longer life and a reduced environmental impact.
